it’s time to find another Yorkshire Chippy that can do the region proud

So our 2017 nomination for The British Takeaway Awards (Pax Burger) are through to the final, so we’re off to find out who the competition is in the Yorkshire & Humber region for 2017.

You’ll remember that #theBTAs in association with Just Eat reward the dedication of local takeaway owners across a multitude of cuisines.

After the success of our nomination in 2016, Catch Seafood in Halifax, it’s time to find another Yorkshire Chippy that can do the region proud and show the others just how good Yorkshire Fish & Chips are.

Run by Husband & Wife team Steve & Jenny Knight, Knights of Pontefract is now the second shop following on from the success of Abbey Fisheries in Selby.

Abbey Fisheries has won numerous accolades including National Federation of Fish Friers Quality Award, Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor & runner up in The British Takeaway Awards last year.

They hope to bring this enthusiasm and passion for fish & chips to Pontefract by only using the finest ingredients and sourcing the freshest fish & potatoes and ensuring that they are cooked and served with care.
