Browns is the kind of highly reliable central Leeds restaurant that you need in your repertoire
With the British weather being as good as it has over the last couple of months it hasn’t felt right to be eating the traditional British Sunday Lunch, instead I’ve been enjoying lighting up the BBQ every night and eating grilled meats and dressed leafs, however there’s only so much of that you can take before eventually that craving for a Sunday Lunch returns.
If you’re anything like me you’ve passed Browns at the Light Centre in central Leeds a hundred times before and have always wanted to pop in, but just never got round to it, that was about to change for the sake of my Sunday Lunch cravings.
Priced at around £15 for a Roast Beef dinner it’s true that there are cheaper places in Leeds, especially if a Carvery floats your boat, however at this level of quality it’s also true that £15 seems very reasonable given the ambiance and service you’ll receive at Browns.
We accompany the meal with the suggested red wine a 2013 Merlot by the name of Eagles Nest which I have to admit is the absolute perfect match for the beef.
Browns is the kind of highly reliable central Leeds restaurant that you need in your repertoire of places to go back to when you need great ambiance, superb service and a really great plate of food.
