How to make Yorkshire Puddings by the UK Yorkshire Pudding champion – our Chris!
Happy Yorkshire Pudding Day to all of our lovely readers in both God’s Own Country and beyond!
Today is our very special day and we’re hoping all our Yorkshire Pudders, both old and new, will join us in celebrating this very special homage to the signature dish of our wonderful Yorkshire – by making homemade Yorkshire Puds of course!
Whether you have it with your roast beef, chicken, lamb – or any other dish, quite frankly – and whether you stick to the traditional method of eating yours doused in gravy before your Sunday dinner or shove it all on the plate together, we really don’t mind. Just get them in the oven this aft and make it a good excuse for getting family and friends around the dinner table together.
The best thing about making classic Yorkshire Puddings from scratch, apart from the phenomenal taste, is how easy they are to cobble together.
On Friday, two-time Yorkshire Pudding Champion of the UK – our very own Chris Blackburn – spoke to West Yorkshire’s Pulse 2 Radio Breakfast Show and told listeners the secret to his simple Yorkshire Pudding recipe. So instead of scouring the internet on Yorkshire Pudding
Day for recipes, get on with it after listening to what Chris had to say on making traditional Yorkshire Puddings here.
Let’s raise our batter and make a toast to… the mighty YORKSHIRE PUDDING!
