On our recent visit to The Ivy Asia, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who guided us to our table in the opulent dining room. As we perused the menu, we were struck by the diverse range of dishes that promised to tantalize our taste buds.
To start, we savoured the delectable Prawn Tempura with Chilli, Lime & Coriander Dip, Pork & Kimchi Dumplings with Chilli Oil & Spring Onion, and Spiced Peanut Chicken Coconut Skewers with Spring Onion & Lime. Each dish was artfully presented and brimming with flavour, a true feast for the senses.
Between courses, we shared the Aromatic Half Duck for Two People, a towering showcase of a dish that leaves everyone looking at you as the cloche reveals a puff of smoke and the perfectly crispy duck
For the main, it’s got to be Wagyu Beef with Glazed Shiitake Mushroom, Truffle Yakiniku with Barbecue Sauce, and Duck Massaman Curry with Cashew Nuts. Each dish was a triumph of taste, with perfectly cooked meat and carefully selected ingredients that blended together to create a harmonious balance of flavours.
The Ivy Asia also offers an extensive selection of cocktails and spirits that are expertly crafted and served with flair. We indulged in the unique and flavourful Asian-inspired cocktails that perfectly complemented our meal.
Our evening at The Ivy Asia was one of the most exceptional dining experiences we’ve had in Leeds. While the prices may be on the high end, the experience is priceless. From the impeccable service to the exquisite food, every aspect of the evening was flawless.
It’s worth noting that the dress code at The Ivy Asia is smart casual, so dress to impress. While reservations are highly recommended, The Ivy Asia does accept walk-ins, so you can get lucky, and stop by spontaneously for a memorable meal.
