Discover the Origin Hamper Giveaway
I think it’s safe to say that the UK summer has arrived! To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with Discover the Origin again (we love them!) to offer one lucky Yorkshire Pudd reader the chance to win a hamper full of the finest food and wine products from across Europe.
The Hamper is valued at £70 and contains a bottle each of Bourgogne wine, Douro wine and Port, along with Parma ham and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Wondering what Discover the Origin is? It’s a campaign jointly funded by the EU, France, Italy and Portugal designed to raise awareness around five delicious products awarded Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status: Bourgogne wines, Parma ham, Douro wines, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and Port.
Products with PDO status are guaranteed to have been produced within specific geographic locations, using traditional techniques, and have passed stringent quality tests. You’ll see the red and gold PDO logo on the packaging of products with this accolade, so you know that what you’re putting in your trolley is of consistently high quality every time you buy it.
